Chana and Hiran’s wedding was so amazing. Everything was done so beautifully. The Indian wedding was at Joondalup Resort and the official ceremony at Kingspark. Before the D-day we covered the Mehendi, Mandvo and a few pre-wedding ceremonies.
Everybody was so warm and welcoming but we felt like part of the family. We enjoyed shooting and editing every bit of the beautiful wedding.
Congratulation to Hiran and Chana and we wish them an a happy married life!
I love the evening light in Perth (during the ‘Golden hour’). The colour of the light is so dramatic and warm. I did what I mostly love to do…mix the evening light with my strobe light. After making some beautiful photographs at John Oldham Park we moved to Kings Park where we took some amazing images with the entire city as our backdrop.
Here is a glimpse of what we made that day.
Happy browsing friends.
Nikki and Matthew’s couple photography session at Cottesloe beach was so perfect in so many ways. Dramatic sky, beautiful weather and an amazing couple to shoot with.
Shalona and Raman’s wedding has been an awesome experience. Everybody was so warm and welcoming that not for a moment did I or my colleagues feel that we weren’t a part of the celebrations. The four day wedding started with ‘Mehendi’ followed by ‘Haldi’, the Sikh ‘Wedding’ at the Sikh temple (Gurudwara) here at Perth and the reception at Pan Pacific Perth. Indian weddings are full of a variety of customs and rituals. Each one of them is colourful and unique in its own way and its always a photographer’s delight to cover them. I must say that the couple really worked hard for the wedding, per se, and all other ceremonies. Although, the wedding was an Indian wedding it was quite beautiful and unique in a way, as the couple and the families followed both Hindu as well as Sikh traditions.
Here is a glimpse of all the ceremonies of the amazing wedding.
Thank you Raman, Shalona and both the families for having me and the team there for wedding photography and videography.
Simran and Dheeran’s wedding was truly amazing. Each and every ceremony and ritual was a Photographer’s delight…everything was so beautifully and tastefully done. I met Simran in Delhi at her place and we could instantly connect. One big reason was our Army background! We discussed about the various ceremonies and functions that were to be organised during the three day wedding. I met Dheeran on the day of the first function. I must say, Simran is beautiful, both inside out and Dheeran a true gentleman. The couple are so much in love and it shows in most of my photographs and the cinematic video that we made.
The wedding (ceremonies) started with ‘Ghadoli’ followed by dinner. The next day began with ‘Mehendi’ and beautiful colours & decor all around that continued till late afternoon followed by engagement and lots of dance & performances by friends and family members in the evening. On the D-day we started shooting early as we wanted to document the wedding right from the start. The day ended with the ‘Feras’ in the afternoon that was followed by ‘Reception’ in the evening.
I can’t express in words how wonderful it was to be a part of the various wedding ceremonies during the three day wedding.
I hope you enjoy browsing through the photographs and the cinematic wedding video.

Richa and Tapan’s wedding was so colourful and beautiful. Not for a moment did I feel that I was not a part of the family…everybody was so warm and friendly. Here are a few photographs from the wonderful wedding. Enjoy browsing!
Rachel and Mani’s wedding reception was amazing and I thoroughly enjoyed being a part of it. The beautiful couple got married in Sydney, where they reside, and had the reception in India. Mani found me on instagram. After chatting for a while we exchanged numbers. He called up later and we finalised the shoot. Both Mani and Rachel make a beautiful couple and are fun to be with. The shoot started with a couple photography session at the hotel followed by the reception that ended with music, dance and so much fun.
Here are a few ‘moments’ that I captured throughout the day. Hope you enjoy browsing!
One the way to weddings, I find myself getting so excited about my bride and groom and so many events and pre-wedding ceremonies that take place! I believe that every couple is so unique and I just can’t wait to see how the biggest day of their life will come together! Wedding photography gives me the opportunity to be a part of the most important season of their life.
I am so thankful to the amazing couple, Amar and Vartika, who chose me to spend the most important days of their life with them. It has been an honour to walk with them in the most exciting season of life!!!! Thats why I always tell my friends that my job is the best job. I am so grateful to do this every week, month and year of my life!!
After meeting the couple, I soon got to know that they are both so honouring and adoring of each other and completely in Love. We started talking about the various functions that were planned at Allahabad and Chandigarh both. It was even more exciting as the wedding involved both Hindu as well as Sikh wedding rituals and functions.
I started photographing the ‘Haldi’ and other rituals at Allahabad followed by the Hindu wedding in the evening. The next morning started with the Sikh wedding (Feras) at the Gurudwara followed by ‘Vidai’ of the bride. Soon after that Amar and Vartika along with Amar’s family left for Chandigarh for their reception.
I reached the resort that they had booked for their reception and covered all the events at the reception. It started with receiving the friends and family followed by the ‘Cake cutting’. After a drink or two everybody moved to the dance floor. I remember how everybody insisted that I leave the camera and get on the dance floor. It was so much fun!! I made so many friends that day.
Not even for a moment did I feel that I was a photographer whom they had hired for their wedding, but felt like a part of their family throughout. Thank you again for letting me have the privilege of being a part of your wedding.
All the best to the beautiful couple.
